FL Studio (Part III): Instrument Presets

Instruments are not usually restricted to a single sound. Typically, these instruments are bundled with a variety of sounds – most are modifiable so that you can create even more sounds if you want.

When you click on the Wasp XT button on the step sequencer, it should bring up the Wasp XT interface. This is where most musicians play to sample presets or create whole new sounds.

  1. In the Wasp XT interface, click on the little down arrow next to the Wasp XT name
  2. Choose Presets
  3. Choose Big 80’s
  4. In the Wasp interface, click on the little down arrow next to the Wasp name
  5. Choose Presets
  6. Choose PadWah
  7. Adjust Wasp’s volume to 75%
